Senior Manager, Hubs and Gateways, American Airlines

AWAR Steering Committee Member

I have always been fascinated with numbers, growing up I loved helping my friends with math, statistics and accounting problems.  Coming from small family owned business background, I would say I inherited the financial and strategic skills J.  While I never thought of joining Airline industry, interestingly I got the job offer after my MBA from US Airways (right after US Airways and America West merger) as Sr. Financial Analyst.  I must say Airline industry is very dynamic, has its unique challenges and there’s never a dull moment.  Surviving through two mergers, there’s always opportunity to learn something new and exciting in the Airline world.  In my tenure at American Airlines, I have had privilege to work with great leaders, mentors to support Food and Beverage, Sales and Marketing, Admin Finance, Reservations and now Airports as Finance liaison in my role as Senior Manager, Hubs and Gateways.

In 2018, I had wonderful opportunity to join American Airlines Women’s Leadership Team as Treasurer.  I am very pleased to be part of the team and help with the great cause. Outside of work, I love playing UNO with my 6 and 4 year old, watching movies, and dancing.
